Facilities
Only 150 meters away, the gondola takes you directly to the Wildkogel arena. In the village there are several sports shops for rental of skis and mountain bikes. There are also several ski schools in the village.
For those looking to cool down in the summer, the lake (Naturbadeanlage) is recommended. This is located on the other side of the road, less than a 10-minute walk away with a large lawn, two volleyball courts and a cozy bar.
A stone’s throw away, in the village of Mittersill, is a large and luxurious outdoor swimming pool, with a large lawn and beautiful views of the mountains.
Nightlife venues can be found in the vicinity, 100-500m away. For a delicious drink on the terrace in the summer and the well-known Après-ski options in the winter.
The supermarkets Spar (2 min) and Billa (5 min) are within walking distance.
There are several hiking trails in the area. Mountain bikers will also get their money’s worth. Maps with tracks are available at the various information points in the village.
For sports enthusiasts who want more excitement, there is the option of rafting, canyoning, parachuting or paragliding.

Upon entering, you will be introduced to the stylish and warm interior, what you will notice are the large windows that provide plenty of light in the living room, the beautiful panorama confirms that you are in the middle of the mountains. The living room has an attractive sitting and dining area for a cozy drink or for a dinner in good company. It gives access to a large balcony, oriented to the south. The sun-drenched balcony offers space for a spacious garden set and lounger where you can relax and enjoy the sun. The open kitchen is fully equipped for preparation of delicious dishes. The modern apartment is furnished with authentic Austrian accents, making it warm and attractive. The apartment accommodates 8 guests in three bedrooms and a large convertible sofa bed in the living room. Each bedroom has a comfortable double bed with spacious storage cupboards and TV. The access to the eastern second balcony makes it very special, and is inviting for a delicious breakfast in the summer sun. Two bathrooms complete the picture, each equipped with a shower, toilet and sink. And last but not least, the private sauna, suitable for 2-4 persons, offers you the opportunity to fully relax after a strenuous day.

At the foot of the mountain, oriented to the south, is the modern apartment complex am Sonnenhang. This complex consists of 10 luxurious and high-quality furbished apartments, gradually situated against the mountain. Top 8 am Sonnenhang is located on the 3rd floor and has a beautiful view over Neukirchen am Grossvenediger.
On arrival, park your car in the underground garage in one of the two reserved parking spaces. The garage has a direct connection to the hall from which you can enter your apartment by elevator or stairs, your well-deserved holiday has begun.
For winter sports enthusiasts, there are own ski lockers in the basement for storing skis and shoes with heated shoe holders, so that you can step into heated shoes in the morning.
There is also a washing machine and dryer in the basement for free shared use.
